Etiquette for Children and Teens

At IEA, we are dedicated to teaching children to express their kindness and consideration towards others by using good manners. They are shown how many of the rules of etiquette are nothing more than helping others feel comfortable, and treating others the way they would like to be treated.

Our program is designed to help children and teens learn how to act in social situations. We give them the knowledge they need to feel confident and assured no matter where they are. This confidence builds esteem so they can feel at ease with adults, their peers, and most importantly, with themselves.

We Partner With Parents:
While parents believe that teaching manners is an integral part of parenting, the influence of another voice is often helpful. With today's busy schedules, many families do not have enough “teaching moments” with their children. At IEA, we partner with parents to reinforce those lessons that are key to social success.

Making Manners Fun:
We have designed our classes to be both fun and educational. Class time flies by as students are involved in hands-on learning in the form of role plays, posture exercises, practicing table manners, writing thank you notes and many other fun activities. And finally, a graduation ceremony where students are proud to show their newly acquired manners, poise, character and confidence.

Classes for Young Ladies & Young Gentlemen:
Our classes are both age and gender appropriate. We offer classes for young ladies and young gentlemen of ages 6 to 17.
